May is over and I'm confused about it. Did it happen? A year has passed since I posted on this blog. How odd.
What to update you about? I'm inches away from graduating high school and I feel conflicted. The last month of high school I haven't really gone to school because classes ended after AP exams, and I almost wish I was there. I just feel really directionless but everyone else seems to know what to do with all of this free time. For the past four years, we've never had a "last day" of school because we finished with finals, and I wish we did have one.
I still don't have a car - even though I can "use" one, it can only go about 5 miles away from home and not on freeways, so I don't really feel like I can leave. And every time I try to drive it, Appa tells me not to..
So what have I been doing? Even though school is over, I often go back for all these special events that are kind of disappointing, because I think I'm expecting some kind of closure. I haven't even asked anyone to sign my yearbook, though I know I should. I just can't find the right time...
Favorite things for May have been:
Watching Madam Secretary with Oma on the couch
Re-reading Harry Potter (now on The Order of the Phoenix!!)
Listening to Childish Gambino on constant repeat
Spending time with my friends at these random school events
Getting a NYT digital subscription
Watching Sheslulu on Youtube
I wish there was some way to see metrics on Spotify of my month - I really wanna observe my patterns!
A teacher I talked to yesterday (who I haven't really talked to since 9th grade!) told me to get a hobby (haha sounds harsh but wasn't) and I need to find one - that's one of my June missions. Ooh speaking of Missions, GOTG 2 was sooo good and better than the first (tho Bri disagrees). Grad Nite was two days ago and we so wanted to go on the ride but the line was 2 frickin hours long!! I've got to go finish planning my bullet journal for this month, clean my room, and exercise.... Running late on today's plan!
